The Study On The Differences Of County Economy Development Level And Its Influencing Factors In Henan Province

After the reform and opening up,with the implementation of the economic system reform and the opening up policy,on the one hand,the speed of the development of China’s economy has been accelerated,on the other hand,the differences in the level of economic development between regions have been expanded.Not only between the eastern and western regions,but also between provinces and counties.However,reasonable and moderate differences can promote the further development of the economy.Excessive economic differences will become obstacles to the development of the county economy,this will even seriously affect the healthy and coordinated development of the economy.The State Council officially approved the “Zhongyuan Economic Zone Plan” in November 2012.This document has positioned the Zhongyuan Economic Zone as a strategic fulcrum for regional coordinated development.As the backbone of the construction of the Zhongyuan Economic Zone,Henan Province should promote the development of the economy.At the same time,we must also face up to the differences between the county’s economic development levels,and promote the coordinated development of the county.This paper summarizes the related literatures and theories at home and abroad,and takes the regional economic equilibrium development and the non-equilibrium development theory as the theoretical basis of this paper.In the time series,the economic development level of 105 counties in Henan Province is analyzed from two perspectives in terms of per capita GDP.The results show that the absolute differences and relative differences of the economic development levels of each county are gradually expanding from 2001 to 2016.In order to explore the spatial dimension characteristics of the development level of each county,the SPSS software is used to comprehensively analyze the economic differences of counties in Henan Province.Five primary indicators and 12 secondary indicators are selected for principal component analysis.The comprehensive scores of 105 counties are sorted accordingto the descending rules.According to the natural breakpoint method,the counties in Henan Province are divided into three development gradients: developed,generally developed,and underdeveloped counties.Then,using exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA),based on the comprehensive scores,the spatial autocorrelation exploration of the development level of various counties in Henan Province is carried out.It is concluded that there are significant spatial agglomeration effects in the development process of each county in different stages of development.Finally,using the Stata software,from the two aspects of factor input and industrial structure,the panel data regression analysis is carried out on the influencing factors of the county economy as a whole and the developed,generally developed and underdeveloped counties in Henan Province.Finally,through the above series of related research on the influencing factors of differences,and then put forward reasonable and operable policy recommendations to promote the coordinated development of county economy,cultivating growth poles,strengthening the polarization effect and diffusion effect between counties,undertaking industrial transfer,giving full play to the comparative advantages of counties,increasing human capital investment,improving the quality of labor force,and strengthen investment in infrastructure construction in underdeveloped counties,optimize the investment environment,attract capital inflows,and provide appropriate policy concessions.
