The “Guiding Opinions on Regulating Asset Management Business of Financial Institutions”(hereinafter referred to as “New Regulations for Asset Management”)was released on April 27,2018.From the issues of frequent arbitrage,multiple levels of nesting,and unclear leverage,the top layer was launched.Designed and defined the asset management business for the first time,and proposed a unified standard system.The introduction of the “New Regulations for Asset Management” has allowed banks,trust companies,insurance companies,brokerages and fund subsidiaries to stand at the same starting line.Whether it is asset management or wealth management,the rules for financial institutions to participate in market competition tend to converge.Trust companies that have developed dividends,regulatory arbitrage,rigid redemption and fund pool business have been hit hard,especially those trusting companies that value institutional customer development,ignore high-net-worth individual customers and develop wealth management business.As a state-owned enterprise trust company that pioneered wealth management business in the early years,hr trust companies have faced severe challenges in the development of wealth management business of hr trust companies as their trust companies gradually develop wealth management business.In the face of the “new regulations for asset management” that will take effect in 2021,the window period for the trust company to carry out the wealth management business is not long.How to improve the core competitiveness of the wealth management business of the hr trust company,in the fierce battle with the peers Winning is the top priority of the hr trust company's wealth management business.Starting from the related theories of wealth management business and strategy,this paper first analyzes the development status of hr trust company wealth management business,and finds out the problems encountered by hr trust company wealth management business and the causes of the problems.Then use the pest analysis,Porter's five-force model,Boston matrix,analysis of the external conditions of the hr trust company's wealth management business,trust product supply and internal conditions.Furthermore,through the swot analysis model,the advantages,disadvantages and opportunities and challenges of the existing wealth management business of hr trust company are analyzed.The challenge is from the outside,andfrom the hr trust company,the hr trust company about the wealth management business.There are also many problems.Furthermore,through the above analysis,this paper concludes that the wealth management business of hr trust company should take a differentiated competition strategy,and proposes a series of development strategies for the differentiation strategy.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of hr's wealth management business development strategy,corresponding safeguard measures were proposed.
