Based on the development trend of the communication industry in the new era and the adjustment of regional economic structure,this paper systematically sorts out the concepts,processes and methods of performance management,forms a performance management analysis framework,and presents the status and existence of performance management of direct sales channel account managers of China Telecom Zhangjiagang Branch.The problem was analyzed in detail and the performance management system optimization recommendations were obtained.First,this paper combines China’s economic development trend in the new era with Zhangjiagang’s location advantage and economic structure adjustment as the background of performance management optimization,and studies the new requirements of this background environment for performance management.Secondly,this paper starts from the intermal logic of the company’s operation and finds two basic lodes of company operation:administrative mode and incentive mode,and finds that the existing performance management problem is caused by too many administrative modes and the incentive mode is not in place.Thirdly,from the four aspects of performance planning,performance appraisal,performance remuneration and performance communication,this paper constructs a performance management analysis framework,and according to the overall framework,combined with the actual situation of China Telecom Zhangjiagang Branch,it gives specificity.Strong performance management system optimization recommendations.
