A Research On The Influence Of Boundary-spanning Search On Ambidextrous Innovation Of Born-globals

With the continuous development of the global new normal,born-globals have become the focus of scholars at home and abroad.In the ever-changing market environment,technological innovation has become the key to the success of Born-globals.However,Born-globals belong to small and medium-sized enterprises.In the process of growth,they are faced with many shortages of innovation resources,disadvantages of new ventures,disadvantages of outsiders and disadvantages of outsiders.Boundary-spanning Search is the logical starting point for born-globals to acquire external innovation resources and deconstruct the structure of innovation capabilities.It affects the innovation ability of born-globals and helps solve the many difficulties of naturalized enterprises.However,previous studies have not studied the relationship between the two dimensions of boundary-spanning Search and the ambidextrous innovation of born-globals.This paper attempts to explore the mechanism of boundary-spanning on the ambidextrous innovation of born-globals,and further explore the adjustment effect of environment uncertainty on the two.The main problems studied in this paper are as follows:(1)Examining the impact of boundary-spanning search width and boundary-spanning search depth on the ambidextrous innovation of born-globals;(2)Whether boundary-spanning search can coordinate the dual-element relationship of born-globals and is effective Improve corporate innovation performance;(3)The impact of environmental uncertainty on the relationship between boundary-spanning search and ambidextrous innovation in born-globals.On the basis of organizational search theory,innovation theory and environmental uncertainty theory,this paper proposes research hypotheses,adopts questionnaires and empirical analysis etc.,and takes domestic born-globals as research objects.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)boundary-spanning search width/depth have an inverted U-shaped relationship with exploratory innovation of born-globals;(2)boundary-spanning search width/depth have an inverted U-shaped relationship with exploitative innovation of born-globals;(3)Balance between boundary-spanning width/depth and "exploratory innovation * exploitable innovation" of born-globals Inverted U-type relationship;(4)Environmental uncertainty negatively adjusts the relationship between the boundary-spanning search width and the "exploratory innovation * exploitable innovation" of born-globals.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in clarifying the role of boundary-spanning search and ambidextrous innovation in born-globals.It clarifies the boundary-spanning search and the born-globals' ambidextrous innovation see-through mechanism,and expands the influencing factors on the ambidextrous innovation of born-globals.At the same time,This paper explores how born-globals can choose boundary-spanning search strategies for ambidextrous innovation in the context of environmental uncertainty,and provide a guide to the ambidextrous innovation choice boundary-spanning search strategy for born-globals.
