Accelerating urbanization will inevitably be accompanied by serious urban traffic problems.Urban public transportation is the main bearer of passenger transportation.Improving the level of public transportation operation services will help increase the attractiveness of public transportation,increase the share of public transport,ation,and thus alleviate urban traffic problems.Measuring the level of bus operation services in a city requires a reasonable evaluation method.However,urban public transportation is affected by many aspects of certainty and uncertainty of nature and society.It is a complicated problem to evaluate its operational service level.It is particularly important to evaluate the service level of public transportation in a reasonable and effective manner.Therefore,this paper proposes to use the five-element contact number method to evaluate the service level of public transportation operations.First of all,this paper introduces the principles and implementation steps of common evaluation methods and five-element contact number method in detail,and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages,and summarizes and compares them.Secondly,this paper uses the literature survey method and the expert survey method to collect and sort out the selected evaluation:indicators.According to the basic principles of low correlation and wide coverage of evaluation indicators,the selection of the selected indicator sets was carried out in multiple rounds,and the evaluation index system of bus operation service level was constructed from three aspects:enterprise operation level,passenger service level and social economic benefits.The indicators are defined and formulated.Thirdly,this paper constructs a bus operation service level evaluation model based on the five-element number method(referred to as FECN-BOSL model),in which the weighting method is combined with subjective weighting and objective weighting,that is,subjective attribute hierarchy model(AHM)is used at the criterion level,and objective entropy weight method is used at the index level.At the same time,the FECN-BOSL model optimizes the connection matrix in the five-element number and complements the set.The FECN-BOSL model can quantify the relationship between the indicator data and the evaluation level,and solve the fuzzy problem of "determinism"and "uncertainty" in the evaluation of bus operation service level.Finally,the FECN-BOSL model is verified by the data of four bus passenger branches in Beijing.Comparing the evaluation results with the results of other evaluation methods,it shows that the FECN-BOSL model can not only rank and evaluate the level of bus operation service,but also reflect the development bias of different evaluation indicators,and thus better assist.Make decisions for bus managers to improve the level of bus operation services.
