Research On The City Night Tourism Development Of Guilin Based On Local Residents' Perception

On the one hand,at present,the development of urban night tourism in China is still in the primary stage.As the government and the various development subjects pay more attention to the night tourism,it is an inevitable trend to promote the development of night tourism.On the other hand,at home and abroad the research on night tourism is mainly focused on concept connotation,product system,economic benefit and so on and there are few studies on the negative effects of it.In this context,our study has selected the city of Guilin,which was more mature in urban night tourism as a case study in order to explore whether the development of night tourism has a negative impact on the local residents and make further reasearch on.its main influencing factors and spatial distribution rules.This study delineated six areas in the surrounding area of two rivers and four lakes in Guilin and collected information for local residents by combining questionnaire survey and deep interviews.Then we have used geographic information technology to vectorization of the research scope map.At the same time,the coordinates of each questionnaire were coded and recorded and ArcGIS software was used for spatial analysis.Finally,through statistical and spatial analysis we know that the local residents have a strong response to the traffic congestion caused by night travel,especially in Binjiang road and the East and West lanes.Second,noise problems,public facilities occupancy,environmental sanitation deterioration and public security problems also cause a certain extent of distress to local residents but the spatial distribution is quite different.Third,even the positive impact of night tourism on the economy and the improvement of annual income of residents there exists negative effects because the extent of the influence on the different parts and the stakeholders is different and it may lead to price rise.At the end of the study,according to the analysis of the Guilin night tourism and the problems,we have put forward the "endogenous strong,strong extension of branches,public service quality" three night tourism development proposals.We considered that the development of urban night tourism should combine market orientation with problem orientation and combine tourism function with urban function and combine old city charm with new business format.We should avoid the the negative impact at the early stage of planning and development.
