Multi-national corporations play an important role in economic globalizalion and China's market economy.But with the development of the times and China's new economic norm,Multi-national corporations' situation has been significantly different,mainly reflected in;the demographic dividend of China gradually disappeared which lead to a rising cost of labor,fade to foreign preferential policies,and Chinese enterprises are gaining a great deal of competitiveness.This dissertation focused on the Japanese industrial products manufacturing enterprises S's strategy in China.It discussed various external conditions faced by foreign enterprises in China.And it also carried on the discussion and suggestion of S's strategy in China,with the purport of maintaining S's competitiveness and health.Based on the theory of industry organization,this dissertation initially carried on the PESTEL analysis.Then based on SCP paradigm,it analyzed the market concentration and the degree of competition.Then based on the Potter five forces model,it discussed S's profit potential.Secondly,in the aspect of internal capability identification,this dissertation used the VRIO model of basic resource view to sort out the core competence and resources of the enterprises..In the process of strategic positioning,this dissertation firstly used TOWS matrix to generate 9 to-be chosen strategies of 4 categories.Then it used the IE matrix to quantitatively study the internal and external factors.Combined with the grand strategy matrix,the conclusion was made:the optimal strategy for the moment was robust growth strategy.In the strategy selecting section,based on the previous conclusions,this dissertation suggested market penetration,market development,product development and forward integration strategy in detail;It also discussed the successful differentiation strategy which S is using,and suggested to keep and maintain the strategy,which should not be revised differently from the original for short-term interests.
