The competition in the financial industry has been more and more fierce and the competitive environment in which banks are located has been more and more severe.If it wants to be in an invincible position in the more and more fierce market competition,the only way is that the banks must carry out financial product innovation and continue to expand the market with new types of financial services which would enhance the competitiveness of the bank's own market.In the process of bank self-management,performance appraisal activities could promote the realization of the bank's strategic goals,thereby which would increase the bank's competitive advantage.In the case of changes in the external competitive environment of the market,the banks have used performance appraisal tools to improve corporate management,but many banks do not do a good job in performance appraisal,and performance appraisal was not effective.How to optimize performance and assesse system,establish sound performance appraisal system,and effective implementation would become an important research work in the performance appraisal work.In this context,the paper selected X Branch of a commercial bank as the research object,and conducted research on bank employee performance appraisal,which aimed at promoting the continuous improvement of the performance appraisal management level of X branch of a bank.The research of the paper was divided into five main parts.The first part introduced not only the research background,but also purpose and significance of the paper,at the same time summarized the research status at home and abroad,and explained the research contents and research methods and the basic idea of research;the second part was the theoretical basis of performance appraisal,in which mainly discussed the relevant theories of performance appraisal,and pointed out the main performance appraisal methods,the significance of performance appraisal work,and provided theoretical support for the research work of the thesis;The third part was the status quo and existing problems of the performance appraisal in the X branch of a commercial bank.in which part the paper pointed out the status quo of the performance appraisal of X branch,the existing problems and the causes of the problems.The fourth part was the design of the performance appraisal system of X branch of a commercial Bank.On the basis of the content analysis of the third chapter,the performance appraisal system of X branch of a commercial bank was optimized.The fifth part was the improvement and implementation of X branch of a commercial bank.The main objective was to optimize the performance appraisal of employees and improve theperformance appraisal index system.In order to improve the implementation cycle of employee performance appraisal,transparent performance appraisal implementation process,and strengthen the application of performance appraisal results to ensure the complete implementation of the performance appraisal system.
