Research On The Spatial Spillover Effects Of The Coordinated Development Of New Urbanization And Industrial Structure On Economic Growth

It is of great significance to study the relationship between new urbanization and industrial structure for regional economic growth,urbanization process,industrial structure optimization and upgrading,and promote supply-side structural reform.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China’s social economy has been developing at a high speed,and the level of urbanization has been continuously improved.However,due to the extensive development mode of rapid urbanization in China,the gap between urban and rural areas has also been increasing day by day.A series of problems,such as imbalance of regional development,high cost of development and destruction of ecological environment,etc.For this reason,the 18 th National Congress of the Party put forward and established the development road of new-type urbanization at the right time,thus our country entered the new city from the traditional urbanization.Town development stage.Industrial interaction is one of the basic characteristics of new urbanization in our country.Promoting the integration of production and city is an important way to build a new type of urbanization at a high level.Only in this way can the new type of urbanization be able to expand the employment space of the majority of farmers.To further promote regional economic development.Based on the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper takes the middle,and measures the new urbanization and industrial structure coupling degree of 30 provinces and cities in China.This paper analyzes the current situation of the coordinated development of the two in different regions,and then studies the influence of the degree of coupling and coordination between the two on the regional economic growth by using the spatial econometric model.Based on the current situation analysis and model research,it is concluded that the coupling coordination degree between new urbanization and industrial structure in most provinces and cities of our country is at the moderate level,and the development level of new urbanization in most areas lags behind the level of industrial structure development.It restricts the coupling and coordinated development of the new urbanization-industrial structure system.According to the spatial Doberman model,it is concluded that the coupling and coordination degree of the new urbanization-industrial structure system has not only a direct effect on economic growth,but also a spatial spillover effect.At the national level,the coupling and coordination degree of the new urbanization-industrial structure system plays a direct role in promoting economic growth.There is a significant positive spatial spillover effect,that is,the improvement of coupling coordination degree between new urbanization and industrial structure system of provinces and cities will stimulate the economic growth of neighboring provinces and cities;In addition,excessive government intervention is not only harmful to the level of local economic development,but also affects the economic growth of neighboring provinces and cities.Therefore,the government should improve the efficiency of resource allocation and maintain appropriate intervention;Foreign direct investment(FDI)plays a positive and direct role in promoting economic growth both directly and spatially.But because the development of our country’s financial industry is not perfect enough,the effect on economic growth is not obvious.Economic growth has significant positive direct effect and spatial spillover effect.From the regional level,the coupling and coordination degree of the new urbanization and industrial structure in the eastern and western regions have significant direct effects and spatial spillover effects on regional economic growth.However,due to geographical location and scarcity of resources,the direct effect and spatial spillover effect of the coupling degree of urbanization and industrial structure are not significant in the western region,and the communication and cooperation between the governments in the central region is deep.The spatial spillover effect of government policy is positive,and the effect of financial industry on economic growth has changed step by step from east to west.The direct promoting effect of local economic growth decreases from east to west,and the function of human capital and technological progress on the provinces and cities of east and west China is also obviously different.The total effect of human capital on economic growth in the eastern region is the largest,followed by the central region,and the total effect of human capital is negative in the western region because of the lack of effective allocation of scarce resources.Through the empirical analysis,we can draw the conclusion that the development of the coupling and coordination degree of the new urbanization-industrial structure system in China is not balanced,and the eastern region should continue to maintain the state of high concentration of regional economy and medium and high speed growth.The central region should deepen the construction of new urbanization and promote the financial industry.The western region should optimize the industrial structure,at the same time increase the cultivation of talents and technical progress,improve the utilization efficiency of foreign capital,and also avoid the vicious competition between the government.At the same time,this paper puts forward the strategies and methods of the integration of industry and city and the prospect of the future development of the integration of industry and city.The author hopes that through the analysis and research on the impact of the coupling degree of urbanization and industrial structure on the economic growth,the author hopes to provide a practical scientific basis for the integration of regional production and city and the sustainable economic growth.This paper enriches the theory of new urbanization and coupling degree of industrial structure in our country,and puts forward some valuable and feasible suggestions for promoting the coupling degree of production and city in different regions of our country.
