Nowadays, enterprise unethical behaviors still exist, which leads to a negative influence on the healthy development of the economic environment and social atmosphere. The unethical behavior of a corporate has a strong connection to the moral level of the company staff. What's more, the moral level of enterprise managerial personnel, especially entrepreneurs, will directly affect the way in which their own and their subordinates deal with ethical issues in their work, and then reflect them in the ethical behavior of the whole enterprise. Therefore,in order to promote the sound development of the social and economic environment,it is necessary to carry forward the importance of ethical behavior in enterprises. In order,we must first promote the moral performance of business managers, promote entrepreneurship, and establish a positive role model for enterprise managerial personnel, which will contribute to a positive feedback on the ethical behavior of the entire company. However, the ethical level of managers in enterprises is still in a state of unevenness, and the negative news of entrepreneurs is common at present. Therefore, how to improve the moral performance of enterprise managerial personnel has become the focus of many scholars. In order to explore this issue, this paper studies the role of business ethics courses in promoting entrepreneurial moral identity and thus enhancing enterprise managerial personnel's moral standards based on the path of moral identity. The research described here involving 200 MBA students, and 90.5% of them hold management positions in the company, which was the actual management staff of the company. The view of this study is that under the path of moral identity,MBA students who accept business ethics courses, that is,enterprise managerial personnel, can emphasize moral identity through curriculum education's emphasis on ethics and morality, and positively regulate their behavior.Under the intermediary role of moral identity,it is more important to deal with ethical issues in the work through the way in line with moral standards.According to the past literature, the moral performance in this study is reflected in three dimensions: moral efficacy, moral meaningfulness and moral courage.Through pre-testing and post-testing experiments, this paper examining the moral efficacy, moral significance and moral courage of 200 MBA students before and after the business ethics course. The measurement results reflect whether the study of business ethics courses can strengthen the students' moral identity, boost their confidence in their abilities to handle ethical problems at work(i.e.,moral efficacy),deepen the relative importance of ethics in their work lives(i.e.,moral meaningfulness),and motivate them to be more courageous in raising ethical problems at work even if it is unpopular r(i.e.,moral courage).Specifically, the study explores whether the enhancement of moral identity is positively related to moral efficacy, moral meaning, and moral courage, that is,it has a certain intermediary effect.Through the above observations, this paper investigates whether the business ethics course can positively influence the moral performance of enterprise managerial personnel through the intermediary role of moral identity.Based on the verification of the experimental results, this study found that the ethical identity, moral efficacy, moral meaningfulness and moral courage of MBA students participating in the business ethics course were improved to varying degrees. Therefore, the conclusions of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for the positive role of business ethics courses in improving the moral performance of enterprise managerial personnel in the path of moral identity. The innovations in this paper are reflected in the following two aspects.First, the use of the regulatory focus theory.Under this mechanism,Business ethics education could be a positive external means to enhance the promotion focus of enterprise managerial personnel,so that they can achieve morality spontaneously.Different from the prevention focus in the means of negative suppression such as disciplinary and warning,it provides a positive driving force to improve enterprise managerial personnel's moral performance;the second is to explore the mediating role of moral identity and explain the relationship between the moral identity and moral performance. The implication for future study is also discussed in this paper.
