At present,the domestic and international economic environment is increasingly complex,and financial supervision is increasingly strict,posing more challenges as well as opportunities to financial institutions.Due the rapid development of the whole financial industry and the increasingly transparent market information,the gap is narrowing between banks and the competitors in terms of traditional resources(such as capital,technology,etc.)that can be utilized by the bank.The product types and service standards of various banks also tend to be homogenized.More and more similar financial institutions attract bank talents through high-paying and high-level positions.However,more and more bank staff are also suffering the decline of salaries due to business adjustments,and more banks are struggling in the economic downturn.In this context,due to the fact that the personal skills,work ability and relationship network of the bank staff can not be imitated or used as reference by competitors,the competition of banks has gradually shifted to the competition of human resources,and to reduce the turnover rate of employees has become the focus of various banks.As the turnover of employees is common among banks,it is of great importance both for the reality and the development purposes for the bank to establish an effective mechanism that is able to retain employees and reduce the turnover rate,and to improve management regarding the turnover of employees.This article takes AB Bank Xiamen Branch as the research object.The article first introduces the overview of the branch and its current situation of human resources management.Then through the collection of the interview materials with the resigned employees,this article summarizes various situations for the employee turnover,and analyzes the reasons from three aspects,the external environment,the enterprise and the employees themselves.Through Price-Mueller model analysis and based on the variables of the influence on turnover intention in the model,this article advances further and combines the functions of turnover management with the functions of human resource management,and puts forward some suggestions on the reduction of employee turnover tendency from four aspects:human resource planning,salary management,training management and system improvement.Finally,this article establishes an action plan to help AB Bank Xiamen Branch to retain employees and reduce the turnover rate.
