China’s rural express delivery is encountering a number of problems, including high cost, poor time efficiency, low accuracy and lack of customized services, which are significant setbacks to the development and improvement of economy and living standards of in rural areas. It is absolutely urgent to work out the problem of rural terminal distribution in rural areas. In order to promote the development of rural logistics, the Ministry of Transportation has put forward relevant opinions on promoting the construction of township transportation service stations(hereinafter referred to as “service stations”).At present, with the development of service stations being in its primary stage, there are still relatively few of them have been built and operated in China. But it’s undeniable that the joint force generated by the good cooperation between two sides is an effective solution to alter the chaotic and poor distribution status quo in rural terminal distribution.Hence,it is of great significance to study the cooperation between express delivery enterprises and service stations. For the purpose of enhancing good cooperation between express delivery enterprises and service stations, this paper mainly focuses on the evolutionary game of cooperation between the two parties and the distribution of cooperation income based on the study of relevant domestic or foreign literature.Firstly,an evolutionary game model is established to analyze the cooperative relationship of two parties from dynamic evolutionary process and influence factors between express delivery enterprises and service stations. To strengthen the evolutionary cooperative relations, government subsidies and penalties for breach of contract are further introduced and the evolutionary results are analyzed as well analyzed the evolution results. After examining the profit relations between two sides, the principle of profit allocation is clarified, and four allocation modes are put forward accordingly : fixed payment, income sharing, service level compensation, profit and cost sharing. Then, the optimal profit of the system as a whole is determined by centralized decision-making first, and the maximum profit of the partners and the system as a whole under different distribution models and the optimal service level of the service station are confirmed by means of decentralized decision-making.Next,through comparative analysis and adjustment of distribution coefficient, the optimum way of distribution is obtained. Finally, combined with the prior analysis, relevant suggestions for the cooperation and development of express delivery enterprises and service stations are brought up.The main findings of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the evolutionary game model, there is a greater possibility of cooperation between the two sides when the excess profits outweigh costs. Moreover, the probability of cooperation is in positive correlation with the former and in negative correlation with the latter.A reasonable coefficient for excess profits allocation and cost sharing can achieve a win-win situation. And the government’s moderate subsidy is conducive to cooperation,so does an effective punishment mechanism which can also reduce breach of contract.(2)After establishing the profit allocation model, through comparative analysis and adjustment of the coefficient, the optimal benefit allocation mode is obtained---benefit and cost sharing, which can not only optimize the overall profit of the system, but also enable both sides to obtain their desirable profits.(3)Suggestions are proposed to promote the cooperation between the two sides: rational resource integration to reduce cooperation costs;improvement of service to increase cooperative benefits;favorable support and encouragement from government;the perfection of norms to ensure a favorable environment for the industry;fair allocation of benefits so as to promote long-term growth. This paper spares no effort to explore the favorable factors for the promotion of cooperation between express delivery enterprises and service stations, and finds the best way for profit allocation, which provides a theoretical reference to the establishment of good cooperation between both parties and the improvement of rural terminal distribution problems. |
