Abstract/Summary:
The rapid growth of e-commerce and global delivery of courier packages require new solutions to meet customers’ increasing and faster delivery desires.Unmanned delivery services represented by new unmanned delivery vehicles and drones provide new solutions for solving the end-delivery problem in the logistics industry.Unmanned delivery services in China’s logistics industry have shown tremendous market potential,but currently,unmanned delivery is still in the experimental and small-scale trial operation stage.Apart from technological factors,local governments and consumers are the two main stakeholders in the development of unmanned delivery services,which directly affect whether logistics companies will adopt unmanned delivery for commercial operations on a large scale.Therefore,this article studies unmanned delivery service strategies from the perspective of evolutionary game theory,which is beneficial to the improvement of the unmanned delivery logistics system and has important implications for promoting the development of unmanned delivery and providing convenient living for people.This article takes unmanned delivery service strategies in the logistics industry as the research object.Firstly,it identifies the main concepts such as unmanned delivery and introduces relevant theories such as evolutionary game theory.Secondly,based on the development history of unmanned delivery at home and abroad,the article analyzes the behavioral patterns of stakeholders such as government,enterprises,and consumers,revealing the advantages,necessity,and market status of unmanned delivery services.Thirdly,referring to the evolutionary game theory and combining the characteristics of the logistics industry,the article constructs two types of models: the two-party game model between enterprises and government,and the three-party game model between enterprises,government,and consumers.Then,the article analyzes the models and evolutionary game results in-depth,verifies the equilibrium solution using Jacobian matrix,and conducts numerical simulation using Matlab software and relevant literature cases to verify its accuracy.The article then analyzes the evolutionary trends of the unmanned delivery service strategies chosen by various stakeholders under different circumstances and proposes policy suggestions for the development of unmanned delivery services from the government,logistics companies,and consumer perspectives.The research results show that in the two-party game between logistics companies and local governments,net income directly affects their strategy choices.First,different evolutionarily stable equilibrium points exist based on different parameter sizes.Second,analyzing the three-party game model including consumers,the initial willingness to promote the interests of relevant stakeholders in unmanned delivery can effectively promote its development.Third,unmanned delivery cost is one of the main factors affecting logistics company strategy choices,and effectively reducing costs is the key to promoting the development of unmanned delivery.Fourth,increasing labor costs can further demonstrate the low-cost and high-efficiency advantages of unmanned delivery.Fifth,improving the practicality and convenience of unmanned delivery while ensuring the profitability of logistics companies can increase consumer recognition of unmanned delivery.
