Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays the express industry in China is booming, but express delivery faces a series of problems, such as uncertain delivery time, low efficiency, difficult recycling logistics and so on. At the same time, convenience stores have a low profit, little derivative services, which even influence the normal operations of convenience stores. So the new mode that express-delivery company collaborated operating with convenience stores appeared in China.However at present, some research on this new mode were limited to qualitative description, there are few articles that can use quantitative methods to do research on the problem how to allocate the profits between express-delivery company and convenience stores which is a key factor to ensure the collaborative operation mode to success. So this paper which is focus on the profit allocation between express-delivery company and convenience stores is valuable.This paper first introduced the background, meaning and thought and so on. The following is related concepts, domestic and foreign research about express-delivery company, convenience stores, collaborative operation and profit distribution. Then this paper proposed the mode that express-delivery company and convenience stores cooperating with each other. It analyzed this mode from five parts:the requirement of the express-delivery company and convenience stores, the preparation to collaborate, business process, advantages and problems which pointed out the importance of profit allocation.Then this paper used principal-agent theory to analyze the relationship between express-delivery company and conveniences stores, and establish the profit distribution model based on it. The results shown the profit allocation not only affected by conveniences stores’ efforts, effort cost coefficient and income of unit output, but also influenced by exogenous random variables. Therefore, use compensation factor to perfect the model. The compensation factor can be considered reducing variance of exogenous random variables. So using compensation factor can both improve the effectiveness of the profit allocation and make convenient stores to work harder.Finally select SF-express and7-eleven and Bailihui conveniences stores in Shenzhen as research objects, analyze both advantages and the reasons to cooperate with each other, Using the actual data and references from other documents, assigned related parameters in the model and calculated the result, which verified the validity of the model and had a certain guiding significance to reality.
