Research On The Evaluation Of Tourism Investment Environment In Guangdong Province

Since the reform and opening-up,the economy of Guangdong has been ranked first among the whole country for many years.Guangdong also has been the country in terms of marketization,industrial development,economic competitiveness and level of innovation.Highly preferential opening conditions,one-up economic development level,perfect infrastructure,excellent ecological environment,abundant resources and comfortable climatic conditions eventually promoted Guangdong to be the largest tourist target market and destination in China,and it has become a hot spot for investors.However,the geographical location,provincial policies,the allocation and co-ordination of major projects make the economic development unbalance between the Pearl River Delta and the northern and western regions of Guangdong,which has the impact of economic development and the development of regional tourism.Therefore,it is one of the issues of great concern on understanding the further differences in urban tourism investment environment and investment in various regions of Guangdong Province.After analyzing the basic development of Guangdong Province,this paper combines the domestic and international research on the factors and evaluation system of tourism investment environment,and also combines the actual situation of regional tourism development in Guangdong Province to construct the evaluation index and system of tourism investment environment.Using the entropy method to conduct a dynamic analysis and comprehensive environmental assessment of the overall changes in the tourism investment environment that 21 cities in Guangdong Province from 2014 to 2017.Making compare the tourism investment level with investment attractiveness of the 21 cities in the province in 2017 and drawing a conclusion.(1)In the investment environment evaluation system of Guangdong Province,the economic development environment is the most influential factor,and there is highly consistent in ranking.(2)In the region,the tourism investment environment of Guangdong Province shows regional imbalance.The whole of tourism investment environment in the Pearl River Delta is significantly better than the region that in the eastern and western regions of Guangdong,and is highly polarized in the region.(3)In areas where regional economic and resource allocation are extremely unbalanced,the tourism investment environment is not the only factor affecting regional investment level.The flow of tourism investment funds is also affected by the maturity of destination tourism,resource saturation and policy regulation.The tourism investment environment of the cities of eastern and western Guangdong is continuously improved with the support of regional strategic policies and economic development.Guangzhou and Shenzhen which are relatively mature in the development of the tourism industry,however,are developing slowly and weakly.Through the research and analysis,we will make a scientific and correct investment environment evaluation.The results of the study can not only help to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the regional investment environment,optimize the investment environment and improve policies,guide the investment direction of funds,and promote the continuous improvement;on the other hand,it can help investors make the right investment decisions and provide a theoretical basis for scientific decision-making.
