MC Company is a global chemical distribution enterprise,and their products are used in many industries include: plastics,coatings,adhesives,lubrication,food,pharmaceuticals,personal care,etc.Their branches are located in more than 40 countries in Europe,Africa,Oceania and Asia.MC Company mainly acts as an agent for the products of internationally renowned chemical enterprises,and provide sales and service for suppliers and end-customers.MC China was founded in 2009,and their performance has been growing steadily,but there are still many shortcomings in the company's management.Especially in recent years,there are serious homogenization and the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements in chemical products.It will make the whole chemical industry to face enormous challenges,and MC company is also facing severe market competition.So it is necessary to adjust the sales strategy for MC company as soon as possible,improve the management system and make up the shortcomings in order to achieve successes in the future market competition.This article studies the current situation of business opportunity management in MC company,and the used theories include: marketing management,opportunity management and time management etc.It separately analyses mining of sales leads,identifying business opportunities,sorting of business opportunities,follow-up of opportunities and closing business opportunities.Then finds out some shortcomings and problems in mining and management efficiency of leads,identification and sorting of business opportunities,management of CRM system and time management for salesmen.Aiming at these problems and guided by the theory of business opportunity management,this article uses Pareto's principle,four quadrant method of time management and SWOT analysis method to propose the corresponding solutions,and then offer the guarantees measures for the implementation of solutions.Through the improvement of business opportunity management,MC company will effectively improve the efficiency of sales leads processing and the rationality of business opportunity follow-up.And then it will greatly enhance the success rate of business opportunities into sales orders.The success rate of business opportunities will determine MC company's future.If MC company can optimize its own management system,it will be invincible in the severe market competition in the future.
