Relevant And Ripple Effects Of Leisure Industry

The leisure industry is one of the largest industrial sectors in the world.Global GDP contribution indicates that it can create economic growth and create jobs faster than the global economy.As a big country with a population of nearly 1.4 billion,the importance of the leisure industry to the Chinese economy has gradually received attention.With the rapid development of the social economy,the leisure industry will not only have a larger proportion in the national economy,but also the radiation and related effects on other industries will become stronger and stronger.Although the development of China's leisure industry has a foundation,relevant measurement research has just started.In order to better reflect the leisure industry's economic status to the national economy and its own,we can use the input-output model as a means to measure the leisure industry based on the definition of the leisure industry,the construction of the industrial system and the classification of the industry.Economic characteristics,thus more comprehensively and accurately reflect the scale and structure of leisure industry development and its impact on other industries.This paper takes the leisure industry system constructed as the framework,identifies the leisure economic activities in reality according to the analysis of the characteristics of leisure industry and leisure industry system,reorganizes and classifies the related categories in National Economic Industry Classification(2017),and then compiles the Statistical Classification Table of Leisure and Related Industries.In terms of input and output calculation,it is typical and representative to select Beijing with complete leisure industry system and abundant business form to do industrial economic analysis of leisure industry and has certain research value.On the basis of constructing the input-output table of leisure industry and the input-output data of Beijing in 2012,this paper attempts to construct a leisure industry input-output table to analyze the actual scale of the leisure industry economy and its exact relationship with other related industries,and to deeply analyze the operational mechanism of various departments within the leisure industry,from technical and economic linkages.Industrial structure linkages,and industrial sensing capabilities,the results of the investment and output of the leisure industry are measured and analyzed in various aspectssuch as industrial impact capability to reflect the characteristics of Beijing's leisure industry and its contribution to the national economy.This paper mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Most departments of the leisure tertiary industry have relatively little impact on Beijing's national economy because of their relatively small scale.(2)The traditional sectors with low added value,high energy consumption and low technical level have created most of the industrial output value,and the level of industrial development is still at a low level.(3)Products and services are characterized by an unbalanced structure in use.(4)Industrial development is mainly based on the consumption of raw materials and processing.(5)The leisure secondary industry has played a too high role in the development of the leisure industry.The leisure tertiary industry has not yet occupied a core position in the industrial economy and failed to play its leading role.(6)The production inducing coefficient of various sectors of the industry is generally not high,and the overall strength of the industry needs to be strengthened.In order to further improve the level of Beijing's leisure industry,this paper also proposes corresponding policy recommendations to promote industrial development.
