As the process of globalization has intensified,the economic boundaries between countries have become increasingly blurred.Business communication and cooperation in the context of multiculturalism has become daily business for many companies,which provides many opportunities for enterprises to become internationalization.But at the same time,cultural conflicts caused by cultural differences between countries,regions and ethnic groups have become the core problem of various business managers.As a result,cross-cultural management emerged as an independent discipline.Based on large number materials of cross-cultural management at home and abroad I have read,this paper introduces the most important issue in cross-cultural management through the brief statement of cross-cultural management.Under different cultural backgrounds,enterprises must face cultural conflicts and find a way to resolve them.Then I stressed that only effectively solve the cultural conflicts,enterprises can stand firm in the wave of globalization and realize their strategic goals of sustainable development,modern development and international development.In addition,this article uses the business case analysis method to compare two overseas expansions of Disney.Then it elaborates on the great success of Tokyo Disneyland which because of Disney Company attaching importance to Japan with a large different cultural background and adopted a corresponding management strategy.But Disneyland Paris suffered losses because Disney Company ignored the French and European cultures which similar to its culture,causing strong dissatisfaction among French and European people.By comparing the two cases,it further emphasizes the necessity of cross-cultural management and proposes relevant measures and some specific suggestions for cross-cultural management of Chinese enterprises.
