The first credit card of China,issued by Zhuhai branch of Bank of China(BOC),was born in the middle of 1985.The appearance of the BOC's credit card has opened a new era of vigorous development of credit card business in China.With the continuous expansion of China's opening to the outside world,the rapid growth of the national economy,the remarkable improvement of the quality of national life,the rising level of consumption in recent years,Chinese people are pursuing a more convenient and consumption method.As a modern payment tool,credit card is increasingly accepted by the majority of residents.Using credit card to consume is convenient,efficient and safe.Not only we can enjoy the convenience brought by early consumption,but also we can avoid the risks that may arise when we carry a large amount of cash away from home.When the card is lost or stolen,the cardholder only needs to inform the issuing bank at the first time,and the issuing bank will report or freeze the card in time,so as to avoid the transaction after the cardholder lost card and losses to the cardholder.Compared with bank accounts,credit cards have similar characteristics,but they are more convenient to use and have many functions,such as deposit and withdrawal,transfer and settlement.One of the most distinctive functions of credit cards is consumer credit.Before the appearance of credit card,consumers must apply for loans with various materials.One of the main reasons of the rapid development of credit card business,the rapid increase of card issuance and the continuous expansion of users is that credit cards meet the needs of people to obtain and use credit quickly and conveniently.In addition,credit card can enjoy a lot of preferential and value-added services when we use credit cards to consume,such as various disc ounts,cash-offs,credit card points exchange gifts,driving services,VIP channels in airports and high-speed railway stations.These convenient services greatly meet people's needs,promote the rapid development of credit card business and they are widely welcomed by the market and consumers.In the 21st century,mobile Internet technology has become more and more mature,and the age of big data has arrived.Under such circumstance,the development of credit card business in China is becoming more and more mature,the number of issuing cards is increasing year by year,and the customer group is expanding constantly.At the same time,the risks faced by credit cards are also increasing with each passing day.The competition among banks is fierce,the competition for customer resources and the seizure of market are common.In order to increase the quantity of card issuance,some banks continue to lower the entry threshold,despise the quality of card issuance and relax the standards of the review to customer,which brings risks to the development of credit card business and buries hidden dangers.In recent years,various types of credit card fraud emerge in an endless stream,and fraudulent acts such as fake card-handling,fake card transactions and cash out emerge constantly,which bring losses to cardholders and issuing banks.Therefore,credit card fraud risk management has been paid more and more attention by banks,and it is also very important to study the credit card fraud risk management of commercial banks in depth.Taking H Bank as a sample,this paper combs the relevant literature and research results of credit card fraud risk management and the related theories of commercial bank fraud risk management.Based on the combination of literature research,case analysis,theory and practice,this paper introduces the development process and current situation of H Bank's credit card business,current situation of the defrauding risks of H Bank's credit card and their management,analyses the existing problems and causes of risk management.This research can improve the theory and practice of credit card fraud risk management of commercial banks in China.There are two innovations in this paper.First,studying the subject of credit card fraud risk management from a new perspective.Taking the fraud risk faced by H Bank's credit card business as a sample,this paper deeply analyses the manifestations and characteristics of fraud risk,summarizes the existing problems and causes of fraud risk management to propose the solutions of the management to defrauding risk of credit card,which can also promote the development of H Bank's credit card business.Second,the viewpoint of the combination of theory and practice of the research is innovative.Taking the credit card business of H Bank as the research object,proceeding from the actual business and combining with the daily work practice,this paper studies and discusses the fraud risk management of H Bank's credit business,analyses and strengthens the defrauding risk control,improves the theoretical knowledge of defrauding risk management of commercial banks in C hina,promotes the risk prevention of credit card business of commercial banks.
