In recent years,with the development of international trade,hidden trade inefficiencies such as inconvenient infrastructure and cumbersome customs procedures gradually become the main factors hindering the development of international trade.Therefore,countries and international organizations begin to improve the level of trade facilitation,increase domestic trade flows and promote trade flows worldwide.For China,"The Belt and Road" has provided new development opportunities and broad markets for China's foreign trade.Trade facilitation is one of the core contents of "the Belt and Road".Based on the previous research results,this paper explores the impact of trade facilitation on China's exports in the context of "the Belt and Road".Firstly,it analyzes China's export status to countries along "the Belt and Road" and analyzes the level of trade facilitation along the line by us:ing the pincipal component analysis.Then,the comprehensive index of trade facilitation and four first-level indicators are put into the extended gravity model to empirically analyze the impact of trade facilitation indicators on China's trade flows,and use the US situation for comparative analysis.The research results show that there is a high room for improvement in the level of trade facilitation in the countries along "the Belt and Road";the improvement of the trade facilitation level of "the Belt and Road" has a great positive effect on the export of China and the United States;Among the four first-level indicators,the impact of infrastructure levels on China's exports to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative is the most significant.Finally,based on the empirical results,under the perspective of trade facilitation,this paper proposes targeted policy recommendations to promote China's foreign trade development.
