| With the progress and development of the times,women’s social status is increasing.In recent years,women from all over the world have gradually separated from the role of housewives,and have stepped into the workplace and even stepped into the stage of entrepreneurship.At present,the group of female entrepreneurs is developing very rapidly.Entrepreneurship is one of the effective ways for women from all over the world to get rid of poverty and improve their social status.In addition,female entrepreneurs also play an important role in the economic development of the local countries and play a role that cannot be ignored.At the same time,the global tourism industry has also entered a golden age,and the huge demand in the tourism industry has stimulated many small tourism enterprises.No matter what type of country,tourism small businesses are the most dynamic and fast-growing part of local tourism.In addition,small tourism enterprises are also one of the main driving forces for improving the local economic development level of tourism destinations and promoting the harmonious development of society,culture and natural environment.Under such a background,the role of female entrepreneurs in small tourism enterprises has become increasingly prominent.However,there is a lack of research on female entrepreneurs in Thailand,especially the lack of research on female entrepreneurs participating in entrepreneurship in the tourism industry.This study is a study of SME women in the tourism industry in Phuket,Thailand.In the course of the research,innovative attention is given to their entrepreneurial motives.This study complements the gap in Thai women’s entrepreneurial motivation research.At present,tourism in Thailand is a very important industry.Phuket is one of the most important tourist cities in Thailand.Every year,many tourists from various countries enter Phuket.With the change of time and the development of tourism,Thai women have broken the traditional culture to carry out entrepreneurial routes.This study focuses on the female entrepreneurs in Phuket,Thailand,to conduct entrepreneurship in small-scale tourism enterprises,and to explore women’s entrepreneurial motivation.Although the number of women’s entrepreneurial motives in academia is small,and the number of research fields for female entrepreneurs in Thailand is small,especially the perspective of women’s entrepreneurial motivation is lacking.Therefore,this study focuses on the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor(GEM)entrepreneurial motivation theory is divided into types of female entrepreneurship,with opportunistic entrepreneurial motivation and survival entrepreneurial motivation.The aim is to explore the factors that influence the two types of entrepreneurial motivations,as well as the factors that explore the entrepreneurial process and entrepreneurial impact.Through the interview method and case analysis,the model of entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial influence of female entrepreneurs in Phuket,Thailand,and the status quo of female entrepreneurs in Thailand is researched.The study is divided into five chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background and research significance,research ideas,research framework and research content,and finally the research focus and difficulty.The second chapter contains a literature review.It analyzes the definition of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs,the basic theory of entrepreneurial motivation,the research status of female entrepreneurs and the structure of female entrepreneurial motivation,and finally the definition of tourism and tourism small business.The third chapter contains research methods and case studies.This part introduces research methods and research objects,research design,and finally case selection.Understand the methods used in this study,select the objectives of the subjects and understand the background of the subjects,how to design and select case studies.The fourth chapter describes and analyzes the case.According to the interviews in Chapter 3 and the results of the selected case study,the case is described and the factors that influence women’s entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial influence in Phuket are summarized.These results constitute a characteristic model for female entrepreneurs in Phuket.The factors of entrepreneurial motivation of female entrepreneurs in Phuket can be divided into four factors:one is family factor,the other is tourism environment factor,the third is individual realization factor,and the fourth is education factor.The fifth chapter concludes the study and summarizes the innovation and research of this research.This study found that there are four major factors in the entrepreneurial motivation of female entrepreneurs in Phuket;family factors,tourism environmental factors,individual realization factors and educational factors.The impact on women’s entrepreneurship in Phuket refers to changes in the environment and lack of leadership education.Through the above research results,this study aims to better understand the current situation of women’s entrepreneurship in Phuket,especially Phuket tourism entrepreneurship.Since the selected women in this study are from Phuket,Thailand,they may not be able to fully explain the special problems in women’s entrepreneurial practices in other cities in Thailand and other countries.The follow-up can be carried out by expanding the scope of the study and selecting samples from cities of different types and sizes.The study found that the subjective motivation of women in Phuket,Thailand,consists of two factors:one is that they pursue individual material or spiritual needs,and the other is that they need to inherit their own family business.Objectively speaking,Phuket,Thailand,as the most important tourist city,the rich tourism environment also provides them with opportunities to start a business.The entrepreneurial motivation of women in Phuket,Thailand is not only determined by a single factor,but by the combination of multiple factors.Finally,the results of this study have broadened the research field of women’s entrepreneurship in Thailand,extended the research dimension of women’s tourism entrepreneurial motives,and provided readers with new value references and new research directions. |
