Impact Of International Tourism On Economic Growth Of China

Tourism sector in China is booming like never before and to an extent that it's paving way for other economies to come forward and play their part in enhancing regional connectivity and globalization.This thesis aims at studying international tourism and its effects on China's economy from the past 30 years.A qualitative-quantitative approach has been used;the qualitative being taken from the existing literature and quantitative being done on the secondary data present.Our results showed that international tourism has been significantly affecting China's economic growth and will continue to do so if China decides to introduce more tourism-friendly policies in near future.
