Research On The Impact Of Tourism Development In Liaoning Province On Economic Growth

In recent years,more and more people have chosen tourism as a way of leisure and entertainment,which has made the development of tourism prosperous and the prospects are getting better and better.The relevance and spurt of tourism has also promoted local economic growth.Therefore scholars at home and abroad have also focused on the relationship between tourism and economic growth.Liaoning Province is also a large province with rich tourism resources.It has unique natural scenery and historical and cultural resources,attracting numerous Chinese and foreign tourists to visit here.According to the requirements of the 13 th Five-Year Tourism Development Plan,developing tourism has become an important measure for the economic development of Liaoning Province.In order to correctly analyze the relationship between tourism development and economic growth in Liaoning Province,this paper uses econometric methods to analyze their relationship.First of all,this paper introduces the development status of tourism and economic in Liaoning Province,including tourism resources and infrastructure,problems in the tourism development,and the scale and structure of economic growth,etc.Then,the three indicators of domestic tourism income,inbound tourism income and Liaoning Province's GDP are selected as variables.Based on the time series data from 2001 to2016,the tourism industry and economic growth in Liaoning Province are studied.By constructing VAR models,impulse response analysis,variance decomposition,and conducting tourism economic impact analysis,analyze the contribution of tourism development to economic growth,clarify the contribution of tourism to Liaoning's economic growth,and establish the status of tourism in Liaoning's economic growth.Based on the analysis results,clarify the development direction of tourism in Liaoning Province and optimize resource allocation,and filly utilize advantages and characteristics of tourism resources.Lastly,propose policy recommendations to promote the green and healthy development of tourism.
