With the development of economic technology,knowledge has become the key resource for innovation and development of enterprises and countries.Knowledge workers play an important role.The mental model is a cognitive icon rooted in people's minds.The research on the mental model of knowledge workers has great significance.Some studies have proposed the growing mental model based on the system science theory,which was defined as a kind of active and opened cognitive figure.It has the vitality of sustainable development.It can correct and improve by itself.This paper explores the impact of the growing mental model on the professional growth of knowledge workers,researching the mechanism.It is expected to make effective recommendations on the personal development of knowledge workers and the management of enterprises.Based on the perspectives of the positive psychology,the theory of planned behavior and the conservation of resources theory with other studies,defined the connotation and dimensions of variables.Made reasonable assumptions and constructed models about variables.The small sample test is first performed,and the scale is modified based on the analysis results to form a formal questionnaire.Total 408 valid questionnaires were collected from the formal survey,and SPSS 22.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity test,homology method bias test,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The research shows dimensions of variables are reasonable,and the growing mental model has a significant positive impact on the professional resilience and professional growth of knowledge workers.The influence of professional resilience played a partial intermediary role between the growing mental and the professional growth.The perceived organizational support played a positive regulation role in the impact of the growing mental model on the professional growth of knowledge workers.The perceived organizational support played the positive regulation role in the sense of professional mission with the professional growth,and the internal attributional thinking with the professional growth.Finally,it verified the mediating effect of regulation and analyzed the influence of knowledge workers' perceived organizational support on the mediating role of their professional resilience.According to the research results,enterprises should pay attention to assessing the psychological characteristics of candidates in the recruitment and selection process to improve the perceived organizational support.They should enhance the cultivation of professional skills and mental models of employees.Furthermore,enterprises should improve the talent management,compensation and welfare system.Knowledge workers should also establish the sense of self-cultivation and shape a positive mental model.They should plan career paths and set reasonable career goals activity,maintain a continuous learning attitude,continuously improve professional standards and encourage themselves to realize the professional growth.
