With the advent of the information age, knowledge and technology develop rapidly, knowledge has become the powerful weapon for the modern enterprise to obtain absolute advantage, and knowledge workers have become an important part of the core competitive forces. IT companies are knowledge-intensive enterprises and they always have a larger proportion of knowledge workers, making effective incentive to the IT enterprise knowledge workers, fully arousing the enthusiasm of them and making their roles into maximum play, which have become the focus of the modern enterprise managers. From the perspective of professional life cycle management, the author studies the dynamic changes of the demand in different professional life cycle stages of the IT companies in China, extracts and characterizes the key factor of knowledge-workers motivation in the dynamic process, and based on the above, the author gives policy recommendations of this thesis.First of all, on the basis of analysis of demand characteristics of knowledge workers and current IT enterprise knowledge workers’ incentive management in our country, this paper gives the current problems in the incentive management and analyzes its reason. Secondly, through the comparative analysis of several typical incentive theories, and according to the characteristics of knowledge workers in IT enterprise, this paper combines professional life cycle with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and the hypothesis of this study is proposed. Again, through interviews and questionnaires forms, the author obtains first-hand data. The SPSS statistical software is used and principal component analysis is carried out on the influencing factors of incentive method to knowledge workers, to select the key factors affecting them in different professional life cycle stages and verify the earlier research hypotheses proposed. At last, the author constructs the model of this study. Finally, on the basis of empirical research, the features of the knowledge workers and their incentive status of IT enterprise in our country is considered, the author builds IT enterprise knowledge workers incentive strategies on the basis of professional life cycle. In this thesis, the innovation lies in the fact that it introduces professional life cycle of this dimension, elaborated in the dynamic process of professional life cycle, hierarchy of needs of knowledge workers also changes, thus we arrive at knowledge workers demand level model based on professional life cycle management.
