With the development of information technology,people's production and life are more and more inseparable from the screen.Every moment,it conveys tens of thousands of information to us through visual channels.In order to be able to use the screen anytime and anywhere,the mobile display technology has also developed,and the current mobile display technology is still dominated by thin film transistor liquid crystal display.In order to pursue better portability,engineers and technicians are also working towards lighter,thinner,lower power consumption,wider perspective and other directions,thus putting forward higher requirements for product manufacturing and production process.The life cycle of movable products is very short,so how to quickly improve the quality of products in the shortest possible time has become an eternal topic for front-line technicians in factories.The Six Sigma theory applied in project quality management is a set of general quality management strategies.Its pursuit direction is "zero defect",and it is a management philosophy that the manufacturing industry pursues continuous progress.Six Sigma insists on customer-centered,using valid data and methods to elaborate,analyze and solve problems,aiming at improving and optimizing the original business process,and ultimately improving customer satisfaction.This paper is based on the quality improvement project of a tablet LCD product of a thin film transistor LCD manufacturer.Through the research of project quality management,the Six Sigma quality management tool is improved.The research contents include failure mode analysis,anti-stall and anti-error principle,test design method,measurement system analysis and the application of hypothesis testing tools.In the field of TFT-LCD,the quality improvement of the whole process has been carried out,which is more extensive than the existing research coverage.From product design to manufacturing,from bad improvement to personnel inspection,judgment and optimization,from personnel operation methods to equipment parameters,from Array,CF,Cell,Slimming to Module and other processes are covered.At the same time,a large number of basic data are cited,which is closely related to the first-line production.Based on theoretical knowledge and field test results,the combination of theory and practice has strong practical application value.Through a large number of production test data,this paper verifies the relevant theoretical basis from the perspective of production practice,which has a certain significance for the practical application of related theories.Through the development of the project and the introduction of countermeasures,the quality of the product has been greatly improved,and the annual income of the project has reached more than 10 million yuan.At the same time,it better meets the delivery quantity and cycle of customers,and the bad client also has a significant improvement,contributing to the company's operating efficiency.Through summarizing the experience of the project,it has played a good demonstration role for other product quality improvement projects,and also played a certain reference and guiding significance for the application of small size thin film transistor liquid crystal display product quality improvement.
