Study On The Transformation And Upgrading Of Shenzhen's Export Advantageous Industries

With the warming of the global economy,the growth rate of China's foreign trade tends to recover,and it is increasingly showing the potential for development.However,China's export industry faces many problems and challenges.The aging population,rising land prices,rising raw material prices,complicated international economic situation,and relatively weak independent innovation capabilities of enterprises all pose challenges to the transformation and upgrading of China's export industry.Shenzhen's foreign trade exports ranked first among large and medium-sized cities in the Mainland for 25 consecutive years.Shenzhen's foreign trade exports accounted for about 10% of the country's total foreign trade exports for the same period in 2017.Studying the experience and influencing factors of the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's export advantageous industries has important theoretical and practical significance for China's response to the challenge of transformation and upgrading of export industries.This article uses a series of methods such as literature research,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical analysis.Based on the determination of Shenzhen's export advantageous industries,this paper empirically analyzes the factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's export advantageous industries.First of all,through the changes in Shenzhen's main export commodities from 1986 to 2016,the characteristics of the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's export industries are studied,Shenzhen's exports have shown a trend of shifting from labor-intensive products to technologyintensive products.Then,by using a combination of single indicators and multiple indicators,Shenzhen's export advantageous industries are screened and judged,and it is concluded that equipment manufacturing industry is Shenzhen's export advantageous industry.On this basis,we will focus on the theoretical and empirical analysis of the factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's export advantageous industries,and put forward the theoretical assumptions that financial development,R&D investment,and foreign direct investment will affect the transformation and upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry,and build corresponding empirical models.The results of the analysis show that the three have a significant impact on the transformation and upgrade of the equipment manufacturing industry.Finally,put forward the main conclusions and suggestions.The main conclusions include: The higher the level of financial development,the more effective it can be to promote the transformation and upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry;on the basis of having a good level of financial development,The higher the level of R&D investment,the more it can promote the transformation and upgrade of the equipment manufacturing industry;the higher the level of foreign direct investment for equipment manufacturing industry,the more it can promote the transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry.Countermeasures and suggestions include: vigorously promoting the stable development of the financial industry,strengthening the functions of the financial industry to serve the advantageous industries and potential industries;and the need to actively and steadily increase the R&D investment;and actively optimize the industrial structure of foreign direct investment,guide the flow of foreign capital rationally.The main innovation of this paper is: On the basis of optimizing the selection of indicators,this paper uses the combination of single indicators and multiple indicators to determine and measure Shenzhen's export advantageous industries.Using multi-factor panel data regression analysis,based on selected proxy variables,an empirical analysis was conducted on the impact of financial development,R&D investment,and foreign direct investment on the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's export advantageous industries.
