Survey And Analysis Of Farmers' Livelihoods In The Middle East Of Gansu Province

Since the reform and opening-up,China's social and economic development has made great strides,the problem of poverty has been alleviated to a large extent,a large number of rural poor people out of poverty.But the problem of rural poverty has always been the focus of national attention,from the initial relief assistance,the general type of poverty alleviation to now under the leadership of Xi Jinping,the implementation of precision poverty alleviation,embodies the country's attention to the problem of rural poverty.As the basic demand of farmers ' subsistence,whether they can embark on the road of sustainable development is of great significance to the development of a family,a village and even the whole countryside.It is the core problem of this paper to study how farmers in central and eastern areas of Gansu Province can achieve their own sustainable livelihoods,embark on a well-off road,and use the limited subsistence resources rationally,so as to enhance their livelihood and achieve sustainable livelihoods.In this paper,10 Shuben in the Middle East region of Gansu Province were studied,by using the method of literature review,field investigation,and qualitative and quantitative analysis,this paper makes a descriptive statistic analysis on the livelihood capital,livelihood strategy,livelihood consequences and livelihood problems of farmers under the framework of sustainable livelihoods,and the results show that: The subsistence of farmers in middle and eastern areas of Gansu province is influenced by natural capital,the livelihood type mainly depends on the farming industry,the whole livelihood type has strong dependence on the natural capital,but in the whole,the natural capital owned by the peasant household is scarce,the peasant household's livelihood is simple,the livelihood type is mainly 1--2,and the farmers develop various kinds of livelihood by human capital,physical,financial and social capital,the impact of subsistence capital,the rural households in the middle and eastern part of Gansu province,the loss of household labor,the trend of non-agricultural population mobility intensified,as well as the existing poverty alleviation methods are traditional and single,not conducive to the sustainable development of farmers ' livelihoods.Based on the above research,the paper puts forward to adjust industrial structure,develop characteristic agriculture according to local conditions,cultivate diversified ways of operation,actively develop diversification livelihood based on eco-tourism,rationally cultivate and develop the livelihood capital of farmers in the region,guide the Livelihood Strategy optimization,stimulate farmers ' innovative consciousness,and promote their own earning skills To improve the degree of organization of farmers,the introduction of preferential policies to encourage farmers to return to entrepreneurship.In order to achieve thesustainable development of farmers ' livelihoods in central and eastern areas of Gansu province through the above measures.
