The international companies have earned a big amount of money based on their advantages at technology,management and sale etc,since they came into China after the opening and reforming.But they began to see more and more pressures from their Chinese opponents for Chinese are good learners and often backedup by China government.The situation happened to S company Healthcare.Being aglobal leading medical apparatus and Instruments Company,"S"Healthcare co,.Ltd are continuously developing their portfolio,from medical imaging and laboratory diagnostics,to adding managed services,consulting,and healthcare IT services-as well as further technologies for therapeutic and molecular diagnostics.Together with GE and Philips,which were called GPS from the initial letter of the names,the three medical apparatus and instruments giants have been on the top position in China’s market for over 30 years.How to face the change and challenges in the market?The article tries to answer the question by analyzing the situation and environment of“S" Healthcare co,.Ltd,using the tools of PESTLE and Porter’ five forces model.The former tool was focus on the policy,economics,society,technology and legal sectors and the later focus on the opponents and potential entrants.The PESTLE factors show that healthcare is a very important issue to the China’s government while the government wish the domestic companies grow up to meet the requirements.With the rapid development of Chinese economic and the society,China will be the largest medical apparatus and instruments markets.The technology advancement in medical apparatus and instruments field is also very fast and great,which can be seen from the patent application.By the means of Porter’s five forces model,the current opponents of "S" Healthcare co,.Ltd was studied and the competition among the so called GPS(GE,PHILIPS,"S" Healthcare co,.Ltd)can be seen as a regular situation.The domestic potential(?)ntrants can be the most important threats to them,because the potential entrants can learn the experience from the international medical apparatus and instruments giants and get support from China’s government and capital market,and they are just in the potential biggest medical apparatus and instruments market."S" Healthcare co,.Ltd has been kept the leading position by its innovation on research and development,sales and localization.Based on the analysis,the article draws its conclusions and offers some suggestions.
