Environmental Evaluation Of Rural Tourism Homestay Development

In recent years,more and more people are travelling to the rural country for sightseeing,vocation and leisure with the fast development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism in our country.B&Bs in rural country flourish without any doubt.However,due to its various forms,its multiple operation ways and large quantity of funds invested in its pre-opening,circumspect investigation and evaluations of B&Bs should be done before the B&Bs are to be run.B&Bs should not be the tourism entrepreneur which is ameliorated through simple enhancement of the old houses or buildings in the rural.This thesis makes research on B&Bs in rural country based on the Environment Theory,System Engineering Theory and Tourism Location Theory.Through collecting materials of the definitions,aspects of research and the trend of B&Bs in rural country at home and abroad,the definition and category of B&Bs in rural country in this thesis is confirmed and the characteristics of B&Bs in rural country is also analyzed.Through the Delphi method and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),the evaluation system of B&Bs’ development environment in rural country is set to evaluate the whole development environment in the running process by the B&Bs’investors,so that the feasibility of running B&Bs in some rural areas is acquainted by the B&B investors.With the empirical study of Jiangning district,as the whole development environment is comprehensively evaluated,the evaluation system set in this thesis has been operated,but also the weakness in the development environment of B&Bs in Jiangning district is found to give some actions to enhance the development of B&Bs in this area.Ultimately,based on the evaluation system of B&Bs’ development environment in rural country,the evaluation work of the B&Bs’development environment can be conducted to give more helpful suggestions and advises to the development of B&Bs in rural country.This research demonstrates that:① the support to the program from the government and the natural scenic environment are the most two important influence factors to the B&Bs’ development;② human landscape environment and the facilities are the basic factors for the B&Bs’ development——though both of which are not the determinative factors,the deficiency would conduct the imperfect of B&Bs’development;③ the factor of B&Bs’ market determines the extent of competition and the degree of saturation of B&Bs’ development.
