The Financial Analysis Of Midea Group Under Harvard Analytical Framework

During the critical period of the transformation and upgrading of the economic,China's economic downward pressure is still large.The government emphasizes that the quality of economic development become more and more important than the speed of economic development.In such a macroeconomic and social environment,the home appliance industry is facing the reform and innovation.It brings new opportunity and challenge to the home appliance enterprises.The analysis of the operating condition can help the home appliance enterprises to find the advantages and disadvantages.Depend on the analysis result,the enterprises can improve efficiency evaluation and market competitiveness through the improvement of management strategies.This paper chooses Midea Group CO.,LTD.Which is the leading enterprises of home appliance industry as the analysis object,and adopt the Harvard analytical framework as the method which focuses on the overall financial situation of the enterprise from four aspects: strategy,accounting,finance and prospects to analysis the operating condition.The analysis shows that the home appliance industry still has good potential for development.Urbanization Reform and Consumption Upgrade bring the new momentum and opportunities to the industry.And according the analysis result,we could find that although in good condition,Midea still has some problems which were the lack of high-end brand,the insufficient investment in scientific research and the lack of the ability to integrate resources.This paper advice that Media should increase investment in high-end brand building and scientific research and obtain the core technologies by the merger.
