The implementation of the strategy for rejuvenating villages and winning the fight against poverty resolutely was put forward in the reports of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.Industrial revitalization is the key point of rural rejuvenation.Rural tourism has increasingly developed into a pillar industry in poverty-stricken minority areas in Yunnan Province. It has not only become a new economic growth point in the region but also has become one of the main ways for farmers to get rid of poverty and improve their livelihoods level. It has also become a brand new solution to China's “The problems of Agriculture,Rural areas and Farmers”.Under the background of rural tourism, this article selects Dengeng Village as the research point, which is a typical representative of rural tourism, and tries to start from the perspectives of farmers, based on anti-poverty theory, sustainable development theory, sustainable livelihood theory, and participatory development theory. In the above, the sustainable livelihood framework was selected as the analysis method.Livelihood capital indicators were selected to construct a livelihood capital index evaluation system.Use entropy method to assign indexes, and comprehensive score method to calculate index scores.Comparative analysis was used to analyze rural livelihood capital in different levels of tourism development based on livelihood capital analysis livelihood strategy status.Calculate various income correlation coefficients from the macro level by the correlation coefficient method, and use case studies to study the household' livelihood from the micro level, thus analyzing the role of rural tourism in the livelihood change of households.Combining the main contents of the two parts, this article will study the impact of rural tourism on the livelihoods of rural households in poverty-stricken minority areas in Yunnan.Through the study, the following conclusions can be drawn: Firstly, rural tourism contributes less to the livelihood of rural households in the poverty-stricken minority areas of Yunnan.Although tourism has been developing continuously,it doesn't improve the livelihood of households, and does not significantly promote the stability and diversity of households' livelihoods.Second, the sustainability of rural tourism development in the poverty-stricken minority areas of Yunnan is poor.In the course of tourism development, there are many problems, such as uneven distribution of interests, environmental deterioration, and the increase of living costs, which lead to the loss of confidence in rural tourism.Third, the peasant households in the poverty-stricken minority areas of Yunnan are weak in their own endogenous development ability.Households generally lack the consciousness of the main status, they can not take the initiative and timely grasp the development opportunities, leading to the lack of motivation for tourism development.Fourth, the development mode of rural tourism is insufficient, mainly by the government dominated, and does not attach importance to the role of households in the development of local tourism, this model is not sustainable. Finally, focus on the sustainable development of households' livelihood in poverty-stricken minority areas and sustainable development of rural tourism, three suggestions for improvement are proposed: First, pay attention to the rural tourism contribution to rural households' livelihold;Second, pay more attention to the sustainable development of local rural tourism;Third, try to increase farmers' ability to participate in rural tourism.Fourth,Pay attention to the role of the government in the tourism development model.
