With the publishments of a number of policies for Hainan province and the turning point of China's demographic dividend,the layout of financial market and employment market in Hainan province has dramatically changed.As plenty of financial institutions have entered Hainan one after another,the market competition is increasingly intense.The original financial institutions especially the four major state-owned commercial banks are suffered the employee turnover and business backbones.All levels of management staff are under the pressure of group management.As one of the four major state-owned commercial banks,H bank Hainan branch used to take a chance of joint-stock reform which had greatly enhanced the market competitiveness and dramatically changed the banking management,business process,and property by streamlining,downsizing,reorganizing departments and introducing advanced policies of management.However,due to various historical factors,H bank Hainan branch has its long-term accumulated shortcomings in internal management.Providing opportunities for various external units to contend for internal talents,it also faces the serious problem of the employee turnover.This paper leads a detailed introduction and analysis of the brain drain in H bank Hainan branch.With the part of deeply analyzing the reason of the employee turnover via three aspects that connect to inside management,outside environment of bankandindividual,the paper also use professional knowledge of modules of human resource management(including recruitment and employee relations,compensation and welfare,performance management and employee development),Herzberg' s two-factor theoryand Porter-Lawler expectations theory to improve the human resource management system in H bank Hainan branch and discover the policies and solutions that effectively solve the problems of the loss of talents,which can reverse the position of H bank in the talents competition.The research of this paper has reference value to the banks of Hainan province especially the state-owned commercial banks.
