With the rapid development of IT technology and the increasingly fierce competition in the industry,in order to seize the market,Scrambling for more convenient and cheaper technology and services.In this smoky battlefield,"talent" has become a key factor in winning or losing.IT companies have tried their best to join in the "the war of Human Resource," especially those who have the high technology and experience in research and development.But "it is difficult to grab talents,but it is more difficult to retain them."How to retain and motivate talents and improve the enthusiasm of talents to serve the company better?Therefore,the merits and demerits of the performance management system are very important to the development of the company.The author hopes to improve and perfect the performance management system of research department of S Company.To solve the problem that the lack of effective motivation leads to the loss of personnel,and improve the mismatch between the target and the result,enhance the communication and feedback of the superior and subordinate,improve the overall performance management level of the research department of the company,and contribute to the long-term development of the company.First,In this paper,the significance of performance management,core ideas,performance management implementation process,common performance management tools and other theoretical knowledge are briefly introduced and analyzed.Second,a large number of real data and information are collected by questionnaire and employee interview.Combining with the theoretical knowledge of performance management,this paper analyzes the current situation of performance management in S Company.The problems and causes of performance management are systematically studied and analyzed to find out the shortcomings and improvement direction of performance management system.Thirdly,using theoretical knowledge,taking the characteristics of industry and staff as the reference,the paper puts forward the improvement plan of performance management,and expounds the implementation process of the improvement scheme in detail.Finally,the implementation result and the conclusion of this paper are summarized by continuously tracking the implementation situation and revising the improvement scheme.This paper takes research staff of S Company as the research object,aiming at the existing problems and puts forward the improvement method,which is practical and has strong maneuverability,which not only has important guiding significance to the performance management of research staff in S Company,but also to the research staff of S Company.Moreover,it has certain reference value for the performance management of domestic technology companies.
