| Global warming has become an indisputable fact,man-made carbon emissions are the main factors.With the development of economy,the greenhouse gas will continue to grow in the coming decades.In order to cope with the climate change,the construction of low-carbon city,low-carbon development has become a national strategy for China.In this context,this paper begins with the concept of low-carbon city,as the starting point,then go deep into the construction of low-carbon city,also the path and method of the construction.On the basis of this theory,we analyze the realistic foundation of Wuhan.Through it we have a clear understanding on Wuhan about it’s advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges in developing low carbon city.Then we explore the low carbon city development mode of Wuhan for learning from the experience of some successful low carbon city,both domestic and international.Finally,we analysis of the current situation of Wuhan,conclude construction of city planning,industrial development,transportation and architecture,then proposed countermeasures about how to development at last.This paper features:First,we introduces the background and significance of the research review,research ideas and research methods.Second,we put forward the theoretical basis of the study,include the connotation and definition of the low-carbon city and how to construct a low-carbon city.Third,we analyze the realistic foundation of Wuhan though basic data analysis and comparison with some other city.Forth,we intent to determine the suitable development model for Wuhan city based on the experiences from abroad and the SWOT analysis of Wuhan’s development of low-carbon city.Finally,in the summary of this paper,we state the conclusion of the study,the innovation and the deficiency and prospects of future research direction. |
