Land resources are the material basis for the survival and development of mankind,are also the most basic guarantee for regional economic and social development.In the regional"population-resource-environment-development" system,land resources are at the core of the system that other resources can't replace,but the land resources are limited,their carrying capacity for human is also limited.With the economic and social development,land resources are facing severe challenges.In recent years,the speed of economic development in Guangxi has accelerated,the process of urbanization has accelerated,the urban population has been gathering and the carrying pressure of land has been increasing.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the comprehensive carrying capacity of land in Guangxi.This paper first combed the research on the land carrying capacity at home and abroad,and learned from some of the representative index system results,determined the candidate index set,and then used the system theory as the skeleton,combined with the reality of Guangxi,through layers of quantitative and qualitative screening,and constructed a set of comprehensive evaluation index system of land carrying capacity.The system consisted of three layers:target layer,criterion layer and index layer,the target layer is the comprehensive capacity of the land,the criterion layer consisted of four subsystems:resource system,economic system,social system and environment system,each subsystem consisted of 4-5 representative indicators after repeated screening and contrasting,19 evaluation indicators were selected.Secondly,after the completion of the index system construction,this study used the entropy weight method to determine the weight of the index,and for the first time introduced the extension of the matter-element model into the comprehensive evaluation of land capacity,constructing extension matter-element model of land comprehensive carrying capacity evaluation,evaluated the comprehensive carrying capacity of land in 14 municipal districts of Guangxi,analyzed the time variation law,spatial differentiation characteristics and influencing factors of 14 cities in Guangxi from 2006 to 2015,and put forward some suggestions to improve the comprehensive carrying capacity of land in Guangxi.The results showed that:(1)The extension matter-element model used to evaluate the comprehensive carrying capacity of land,which can not only assess the grade of land comprehensive carrying capacity of the target,but also can evaluate the index level of the evaluation object to determine the restrictive indicators,so as to develop targeted countermeasures and suggestions,it's a better way.(2)In the time series,the land comprehensive carrying capacity of the cities in Guangxi has been increasing from 2006 to 2015,and the number of Grade ?,? and ? cities has gradually increased,and the number of Grade IV and V cities has been gradually reduced.(3)In the spatial distribution,the spatial difference of land comprehensive carrying capacity of the cities in Guangxi is quite different,and there is a certain degree of regional similarity,that is,the comprehensive carrying capacity of the land showed the spatial pattern of northeast>southeast>northwest.The degree of economic development is an important factor affecting the comprehensive carrying capacity of land,but it can't directly represent the level of comprehensive carrying capacity of land.
