High resolution ground surveillance radar has advantages of high detection accuracy,strong anti-jamming ability and abundant target echo information,which could improve the target detection performance under the background of strong clutter.Also,high resolution ground surveillance radar has been applied in the field of anti-terrorism and security defense.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance to study the signal processing algorithm of high resolution ground surveillance radar.In this paper,a wideband LFM signal with wide and narrow pulse combination is proposed,which could meet the requirements of the furthest detection distance and the closest detection distance well.Based on the analysis of the performance of matched pulse compression and window function weighted sidelobe suppression,an ultra-low sidelobe pulse compression filter design method based on convex optimization is proposed.Aiming at the ground clutter of ground surveillance radar,the common ground clutter distribution model is discussed and simulated.Then,for the time-shift characteristics of LFM signal in the fractional-order Fourier transform domain,a clutter suppression algorithm based on fractional-order Fourier transform is proposed.Finally,to solve the problem that the range travel of high resolution radar causes serious coherent accumulation loss and decline on the performance of target detection,three algorithms of range travel compensation are discussed and simulated in details,including Keystone transform,envelope interpolation shift compensation and radon-fourier transform.To deal with the high computational complexity of these algorithms,Keystone transform is combined with radon-fourier transform to propose an improved fast radon-fourier transform algorithm,which can significantly reduce computational complexity.Focusing on the coupling of target velocity and acceleration,the algorithm of generalized radon-fourier transform is discussed.On the basis of that,a fast algorithm of generalized radon-fourier transform is proposed,simulation shows that the algorithm could also reduce the computation complexity.
