The similarity between radar and communication system ensures the feasibility of the integrated system.With the in-depth study of the integrated radar-communication system,the integrated waveform design of radar-communication system has become the research focus.Firstly,this paper analyzes the feasibility of implementation for integrated radar-communication signal,introduces the classical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)integrated radar-communication signal and simulates its communication and radar performance.Next,the Orthogonal Chirp Division Multiplexing(OCDM)concept is introduced into the integrated radar-communication signal design,and the OCDM-OFDM integrated signal that can transmit more communication data is proposed.Moreover,the corresponding framework of the new integrated system is constructed and the target detection formula based on the system is derived.Simulation results show that the OCDM-OFDM integrated signal has superior communication error rate performance and good radar detection performance.Then,based on the principle of Tone Reservation(TR),this paper uses Least squares approximation(LSA)algorithm to calculate the optimal scaling factor and constructs the scaling vector and the scaling matrix for suppressing the peak regeneration,and then two new OFDM peak clipping techniques are proposed: The Scaling Signal to Clipping Noise Ratio(S-SCR)TR technique and The Multiple Scaling Signal to Clipping Noise Ratio(MS-SCR)TR technique.Simulation results show that S-SCR TR has better peak clipping performance and lowest complexity compared with SCR and Time domain Kernel Matrix(TKM)technology,while MS-SCR TR has the highest peak clipping convergence rate,and it only needs one iteration to reduce the peak-to-average ratio to 4dB.Then,the above-mentioned peak clipping method is extended from the orthogonal subcarrier domain to the orthogonal Chirp domain,as a result,a peak clipping technique suitable for OCDM-OFDM integrated signal is proposed.This technology not only improves the carrier utilization,but also improves the peak clipping performance.Finally,this paper uses the FPGA platform to realize the hardware function of the integrated system of OCDM-OFDM.The results show that the integrated system can complete the transmission of communication data and the acquisition of target distance information.
