As important applications of radio technology,both the radar and communication technology are developing at a speed far beyond imagination.With the development of technology,it is requested that specific systems are more integrated and functional diversity.As the result,a radar communication system(Rad Com)that can efficiently utilize radio system hardware equipment and spectrum resources of the integrated system is formed.This study,first of all,focuses on the Rad Com system based on the Orthogonal chirpdivision multiplexing(OCDM)signals,and introduces both the basic principles and system schemes in detail.The parament of the OCDM Rad Com system is discussed and clarified,and its ambiguity function is derived.The conclusion is,compared to the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)based Rad Com system,the conclusion is that the OCDM based Rad Com system has better range ambiguity function and anti-interference ability.Further to the above,the radar processing method of the Rad Com based on OCDM is studied.The influence of random communication data in radar matching filtering on radar performance is discussed,and a digital symbol domain processing method,in which removes communication information and extracts the target echo phase matrix,is proposed.This radar signal processing algorithm based on fast Fourier transform eliminate the influence caused by random data on integrated system radar detection performance,thus,the distance and speed estimation of targets is realized.In order to optimize the above radar signal processing algorithm,windowing function method,periodogram estimation method and Multiple Signal Classification algorithm(MUSIC)are introduced,and the simulation suggested the improve of the radar processing accuracy.Finally,to ensure the ambiguity function is unaffectable by inference,a multi-symbol quasi-orthogonal OCDM(MQ-OCDM)signal is proposed.By using different code sequence combination,the best autocorrelation characteristics of it is figured out,and a Rad Com system scheme based on this signal is proposed.The simulation result shows that the multi-symbol quasi-orthogonal OCDM Rad Com system has better radar detection capability than the OCDM based system.
