Analysis Of The Current Situation Of The Application Of New Media In Archives Publicity Work

Archives propaganda is an important way for the public to understand the archives.It is also of great significance for cultivating excellent archivists,carrying forward our traditional culture and enhancing international influence.At present day,digital development is very rapid.As the internet grows more mature and a new form of media producted by new technologies,this new media form which have affected our daily life has developed rapidly around the world.The rapid development and wide application of new media have brought many opportunities for the archives propaganda work,such as expanding archives propaganda channels,promoting archives information dissemination,and enhancing the image department's image.The effective of using new media can not only expand the influence of the archives department,but also save the manpower and material resources for the propaganda of archives,however,there are still many places for staff to learn from the advantages of new media operations.This article analyzes the problems of the current new media in the archives propaganda work by investigating the actual application of new media in archives propaganda.The main problems are insufficient utilization rate of new media,insufficient information security construction and insufficient public awareness of archives.This article made some suggestions for these problems,such as increase the importance and utilization of new media,enhance the ability of publicists to use new media,cultivate the public's awareness of archives,improve the media literacy of the public,increase the protection of archive information and formulate archive information security regulations.
