With the advent of the information age,computer software has entered all areas of people's lives.At the same time,the scale of software development is expanding,the complexity is getting higher and higher,and people's requirements for software quality are also rising.Software errors will have a huge impact on human life,even catastrophic consequences,and good project management can improve the overall quality of software.By comparing and analyzing the overall level of software in China and the advanced level in the world,it is concluded that there is an obvious gap between them,especially in the aspect of software project management.Therefore,how to improve the process of software project management with the knowledge,tools and technology of management under the constraints of limited resources has become an urgent problem in the field of software project management.After half a century of sustainable development,the project management system has developed relatively intact.Using quantitative data to sort out and promote the discipline of project management has become the direction of future development.On the basis of reviewing the research status of software defect management and project management at home and abroad,this paper analyse the key contents of current domestic research on software defect management,and put forward new research objectives: to optimize the project management process by using software defect management technology(measurement and analysis,etc.)and to enhance the overall project management.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the software defect management and its main tools,defect tracking management process and defect measurement and analysis are summarized.The mathematical principles and modeling mechanism of GQIM measurement model and Gompertz defect prevention model for software defect management are analyzed in detail.This paper expound the basic concepts,ten fields and five sub-processes of software project management,clarifie the importance of project management and the main objectives of the five sub-processes,and provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of software project management process in this paper.Secondly,this paper analyse the background,organizational structure and constructionstatus of LM company's e-banking software project,point out the main problems of the project,and trace the defects of the whole project cycle: Statistical defect density,defect severity,defect demand type distribution and personnel familiarity using GQIM measurement model.According to the indexes of training degree and project progress,it is proposed to use data to evaluate personal knowledge level;combining Gompertz model to predict the validity of testing at the present stage and to determine the criteria for the end of testing;using defect omission analysis technology to induce and classify user defects to avoid omission.Finally,aiming at the key sub-processes of project management process(project execution process and project supervision and control process),this paper puts forward specific improvement measures to optimize project management process,including project scope management,project time management,project communication management and other fields.In order to verify the actual effect of the improvement,the management quality indicators before and after the project improvement are compared and analyzed,and the feasibility and effectiveness of using software defect management technology and methods to optimize the project management process are verified and analyzed.The significance of this paper is to use project quantitative management method to get rid of the previous pure text discussion method,and to use software defect management measurement analysis method to improve the project management method b,so as to solve the problems in the current software project management process,sunch as complex test process,high defect repair cost,high communication cost,and difficult to quantify test results.
