Comparative Analysis Of The Status Quo Of VR News At Home And Abroad

The rapid development of information technology and Internet has not only changed people's life styles and thinking habits all the time,but also become the key factor to change the development of revolution of modern communication.Virtual Reality,VR for short,as a high-tech Internet technology has gradually penetrated into all aspects of people's life.As a combination of cutting-edge technology and news media format,VR has not only brought revolution in the media,but also let to a new mode of communication and experience.At present,countries all over the world begin to use VR technology in news reporting,and optimize it through continuous feedback results.This paper choose the representational VR news channel of Xinhua Network and the VR news channel of New York Times as research cases,use journalism,communication theory and other relevant disciplines,through case analysis,comparative analysis to elaborate the current situations of VR news at home and abroad,the characteristics of topic selection and reporting content respectively,also summarize the common problems that faced by VR news in China through comparison.At the same time,this paper actively combines the reality and features of VR news at home and abroad,finds out solutions and provides suggestions,offers accumulated data and materials for VR news research,makes the industry of VR news more perfect,the content more high-quality,the broadcast more efficient,avoids technology becoming constraints on journalists' work,and makes technology would serve the journalism industry better.
