Research On EU Data Security Policy Based On Analysis Of Policy Text Content

[objective/significance] Through the description and research of the EU data security policy,the advantages and disadvantages of EU policy are analyzed,and the enlightenment of China's policy process is drawn from it.[Method/Process] The content analysis method is used to analyze the data security policy texts at the national level.This paper searches the policy texts through search engines and professional databases(for example,the official website of EU-level policies and regulations)to obtain effective policy samples.Data cleaning obtained 37 samples.Use Nvivo12 to encode the policy texts and summarize the subject matter;use the table for descriptive statistics and calculate the percentage to quantify the policy.[Results/Conclusions] The study found that in recent years,the EU has actively responded to big data security issues,launched many policy initiatives with the characteristics of the big data era,and is at the forefront of the world's countries.It is also instructive to the evolution of China's data security policy.
