The millimeter-wave refers to the electromagnetic wave with frequency range of 30-300GHz and wavelength range of 1-10mm.This paper focuses on the reaserch of E-Band and W-Band antenna.E-Band provides high data rates and user throughput,which can be used for 5G point-to-point communication and wireless transmission.W-Band has been frequency used of satellite communication,millimeter-wave radar 's imaging and tracking,and communication systems.New applications put forward new challenges for millimeter-wave antenna.They need not only the new technology to achieve excellent performance,but also the new structure to reduce the diffculty and costs of processing.In this paper,low sidelobe GWG(Gap Waveguide)array antennas,waveguide slot arrays,and an aperture antenna are presented for millimeter-wave.Low sidelobe design,implementation and processing technology are discussed.The main work and innovation are summarized as follows:1.Research on new GWG technology for millimeter-wave.By studying on the GWG transmission line and feeding technology,a new type of GWG-T unequal power distribution structure is built.Then the low sidelobe GWG feeding network is achieved.Finally,a 32x64 low sidelobe planar antenna array for E-Band based on PCB technology is realized and fabricated.A 4x32 low sidelobe planar array antenna for W-Band is also designed and simulated.New structural design has applied for invention patents.The 2017 National Conference on Antenna included some research results;the 2017 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium included others.2.Designed of millimeter-wave waveguide slot array.Based on the application background of W-Band imaging radar,and the theory of waveguide slot array antenna,a broadband low sidelobe standing wave array and a traveling wave array antenna are realized.The processing of waveguide slot array for W-Band is also discussed.3.Low sidelobe aperture antenna designed for W-Band.A low sidelobe lens antenna is made for W-Band.The effects of the variety dielectric on the performance of the antenna are studied.The antenna is processed and measured with the RF component for W-Band,and results verify the availability of the design.
