With the explosive growth of the modem communication service, people paid more and more attention on 5G wireless communication technology, where the microwave and millimeter wave multibeam antenna based massive MIMO will be one of the key technologies in 5G.In this paper, several millimeter-wave multibeam antennas are designed and developed. The main work of this thesis are as follows:1. A multibeam lens antenna at the operating frequency of 30GHz is designed and developed. A prototype with 7 input horn and 24 rectangular waveguide as phase shift network and radiation array was designed, fabricated and measured.7 beams are achieved which cover the angle of (-14°,14°) with the half power beam width (HPBW) of 4°. The gains of the beams are distributed from 17.57dBi to 19.87dBi.2. Based on the above multibeam antenna, the waveguide open-end radiators are replaced by H-plane horn antennas, which improved the impedance match and gain. The gains of the 7 beams are distributed from 21.74dBi to 25.53dBi.3. We further designed and implemented a multibeam antenna with planar waveguide slot array.7 beams are achieved which cover the angle of (-13.2°,13.2°) with the E-plane half power beam width of 4° and H-plane half power beam witdt of 14°. The gains of the beams are distributed from 26.24dBi to 30.76dBi.
