Research On The Internal Control Of Jiangsu Cable Investment Management

As the leading national radio and television network company and top 30 national cultural enterprises,Jiangsu Broadcasting Cable Information Network Corp.LTD.(JSCN)is facing increasingly complicated management task,mounting pressure and fierce market competition from other telecom companies after the integration of telecommunications networks,cable-TV networks and the internet.Enhancing core competitiveness,expanding market share,developing new technology and optimizing product structure has become the urgent task.While breaking new grounds in business,the company should also cut down costs,increase efficiency and control risks through effective management.These two wheels should roll at the same time.Based on the theory of internal control,Economics,management,accounting,auditing,organizational behavior,risk management,considering the special features of stated owned,listed Cable-TV companies,and through the method of combining theory with reality,this thesis tries to analyze the existing problems in JSCN's investment management and internal control,and give practical advices on establishing the framework of investment internal control system.The thesis first introduces the feature and theory of investment internal control,emphasizing the objective,principle,content and procedure,as well as key control point and risk identification.Then,the thesis tries to analyze the current status and problems of investment management and control for JSCN.Finally,based on the "Basic norms of internal control of enterprises" and "Guidance on internal control of enterprises",the thesis provides advice from five aspects as investment's internal environment,risk evaluation and management,investment control activity,share of information and communication as well as investment supervision and review.
