As one of the small ball items,badminton is a popular choice for children and parents in a quality education environment because of its high level of public awareness and ease of use.Nationwide badminton training classes for children have also emerged rapidly,and their training goals are mainly to cultivate children’s sports interest,form basic skills in badminton,and form a preliminary awareness of badminton.Traditional badminton teaching has not considered the physical and psychological development characteristics of children,and the teaching effect needs to be improved.The small group program teaching is an organic combination of the advantages of the small group teaching mode and the program teaching mode.The organizational form is carried out in the form of a small group.The teaching method follows the guiding idea of program teaching,so it can simplify the badminton knowledge.The study of skills and skills is also conducive to the cultivation of students’ communicative ability,so it is suitable for the teaching of children’s badminton training classes.In the research of this article: Firstly,through the method of literature data,a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the research results of children’s badminton teaching,small group teaching and procedural teaching mode was conducted.Secondly,using the experimental method,taking Harbin Lilong Youth Badminton Club interest class students(a total of 32)as experimental objects,it was divided into an experimental group using a small group of program teaching and a control group using a traditional teaching mode for a period of 16 weeks.Controlled experiment.The basic skills of badminton,the special physical fitness of the two groups of students before and after the experiment were evaluated,and the classroom experience was interviewed and investigated.The test results and the content of the interviews were analyzed before and after the experiment.Finally,the advantages of the small group teaching model are summarized,and related suggestions for developing small group program teaching in children’s badminton training are put forward based on the problems observed during the experiment.Based on the above research and experimental content,the following conclusions are reached: The small group teaching mode has more significant teaching results in terms of basic motor skills,physical fitness and classroom experience than the traditional teaching mode.The small group program teaching is Children’s students have the following advantages: First,it is in line with the psychological and physical characteristics of children,suitable for children with weak learning abilities and natural instincts;second,it helps children to gradually master the basic skills of badminton;The fourth is to promote the development of children’s autonomous learning ability,and the fifth is to help children’s comprehensive development.At the same time,in the process of carrying out small group program teaching,attention should be paid to the reasonable arrangement of teaching and grouping,and always pay attention to the state of small group activities to ensure the correctness and comprehensiveness of students’ autonomous practice.
