Research On The Status Quo Of Adult Information Encounter And Learning On Weibo Platform

In the Web2.0 environment,most people browse,retrieve and interact with network information on a daily basis.In this process,there is the behavior of accidentally encountering interesting or useful information that can satisfy the information needs of oneself or others without any purpose or expectation,that is,Information Encounter.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the study of information encounter and learning,although some scholars have studied information encounter and learning,the total amount of literature is small,and the research based on WEIBO platform is even less.The author concretely visualizes the occurrence of information encounter and learning on the use of WEIBO platform,and tries to duplicate the process of adults' information encounter and learning on WEIBO platform,including contents,methods,scenes and influencing factors.Questionnaire survey and case study are adopted to analyze the status quo of adult users' information encounter and learning on WEIBO platform through qualitative research and quantitative research.Based on this,the existing problems are put forward,and solutions are proposed from the perspectives of platform and users.The study found that the information encounter and learning of the current adult users on WEIBO have the following characteristics: life and leisure information is the main content;The way of accidental encounter learning is mainly to share,and the choice of the way is related to the content.Under the three task situations of browsing,searching and interacting,users have different WEIBO encounter scenarios.Among the multiple factors that influence adult information encounter and learning,vertical and segmented KOL,which is different from traditional ones,is exerting a strong influence.In view of some problems raised by adult users in the process of information encounter and learning on the WEIBO platform,this paper puts forward the following Suggestions: users should give play to the advantages of WEIBO,improve their self-management ability and make use of network technology;WEIBO developers should make efforts to optimize recommendation algorithm,respect users' information needs,build a safe information sharing space and improve accidental learning experience.
