| Traditional teaching and network teaching have different advantages. Traditional teaching has the following advantages: Traditional teaching mode has a long history. In the process of teaching, people have summarized rich experiences in traditional teaching. Teaching activities between the teachers and the learners are finished face to face, which plays a very irreplaceable role in emotional communication and timely feedback. But the advantages of network teaching including the follows: Network teaching provides the rich teaching resources for learners, such as pictures, videos and other forms of information resources. Compared with traditional textbook, these resources are more visual and engaging, and can make students more interested in learning. Network teaching is not limited by space and time, learners can study anywhere and everywhere. In network teaching process, different learners study in different ways with different requirements.We can find mutual-supplementation of advantages between traditional teaching and network teaching through the analytical study. Therefore, we can combine both advantages of traditional teaching and network teaching in teaching process.And then, we can get better teaching effect.Through analyzing the features of traditional teaching, Moodle and Weibo, we can conceive an idea of Combining Moodle and Weibo to assist the traditional classroom teaching, and it is very significative for the improvement of the teaching effect.In this research paper, further research about how to combine Moodle and Weibo will be done according to the theoretical foundation of Blended Learning Theory and Connectivitism Theory. The main research harvests are as follows: According to the basic principle of the instructional system design of "Teaching and learning centered", and the analysis of characteristics of traditional teaching, Moodle and Weibo; we can make an analysis and design of the combination of Moodle and Weibo assisting the traditional classroom teaching. The method of analysis and design includes the following aspects: 1.The analysis of teaching goal and the characteristics of learners. Taking university students as the research object, this article expounds thecharacteristics of them. 2.The design of teaching activity. This design content is divided to two sections, first is the course introduction, second is the design of the activity. 3.The design of effect assessment. It is constituted of three parts: diagnosis assessment, formative assessment and finality assessment.The design of combination of Moodle and Weibo This design includes four parts: 1.The configuration for Weibo’s components. 2.The verification of if the login information exists in the database. 3.How to bound the data.4.How to improve user’s informations.The realization of integration of Moodle and Weibo. According to the developer documentation of Weibo and the rules of Moodle development, the integration of Moodle and Weibo is realized.The innovation in this article is proposing and implementing a method to integrate Weibo and Moodle to assist the classroom teaching based on Blended Learning Theory and Connectivitism Theory. |
