Critical thinking ability is called the main skill in the 21 st century.The talents with critical thinking ability are the important guarantee of social innovation and progress promotion.The nature of Chinese subject determines that Chinese is an important tool of thinking.The core quality of Chinese includes the development and promotion of thinking.Reading teaching is the important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school.The new curriculum study task group proposes to cultivate students' critical thinking ability through reading teaching,so that students can read rationally.In the process of Chinese Reading Teaching of senior high school,Chinese teachers need to fully mobilize students' autonomy based on students,so that students can actively participate in the study of serious thinking,learn to question the text,explore the nature of things,judge the point of view,critically absorb the text knowledge.Teachers should guide students to find and solve problems actively,and cultivate students' critical thinking ability imperceptibly.This paper expounds the cultivation of students' critical thinking ability in Chinese teaching of senior high school from four aspects.In the first part,through the research of questionnaire and classroom observation,the author concludes that the current situation of senior high school students' critical thinking ability is lack of thinking,questioning,exploring and judging ability.This is caused by the current examination oriented education system in China,the teachers' limited teaching ability,and the weak subjective judgment consciousness of teachers and students.The second part discusses the feasibility of cultivating students' critical thinking ability in Chinese Reading Teaching from three aspects: the close relationship between Chinese subject and the cultivation of critical thinking ability,the indivisibility of reading teaching and the cultivation of critical thinking ability,and the golden opportunity of cultivating critical thinking ability in senior high school.The third part discusses the strategies of cultivating students' critical thinking ability in senior high school from four aspects: inspiring thinking;guiding questioning;encouraging exploration and training judgment.In the aspect of inspiring thinking,it puts forward strategies such as creating a relaxed atmosphere for students in teaching,enhancing their thinking awareness and cultivating their thinking habits to impel thinking;in the aspect of guiding questioning,it puts forward strategies such as preset effective questions,launching reasonable questioning and advocating students' spontaneous questioning to promote thinking;in the aspect of encouraging exploration,it puts forward the strategies of deep thinking,such as single article detail reading exploration,whole book expanding exploration,group article comparative exploration;In the aspect of training judgment,it puts forward strategies such as pre-class speech mutual evaluation,in class dialogue and discussion,after class organization debate.The fourth part discusses the case and effect of cultivating students' critical thinking ability in the specific teaching practice.The purpose of this paper is to attract the attention of Chinese teachers in senior high school.I hope my paper can provide some reference for them,and cultivate students' critical thinking ability better in Chinese reading teaching practice.
